Lunes 

Played some basketball at the church for pday, always a great time. Rotisserie chicken for dinner which was incredible and always reminds me of home. Solid night, few good lessons w some more peoples 

Martes 

Super good day!! Zoom Zone Conference in the morning, reallh good trainings on how to improve all the KICs but it was cool bc not once did they talk abt numbers. They talked about how to be better missionaries. Then MLC after was good. Long time to be on zoom but always good. Had a day full of lessons after too. Lesson w the kids as we refer to them! Misael 15, Millie 12, and Marvin 10. Really funny kids. There mom says shes too busy to talk to us but loves us teaching her kids. Then lessons w Gabriela-she read the part we assigned her!!-Patricia, read 1N1 with her and helped her understand, a couple other peoples, and then ended w the familia de Jesús, they are awesome. Taught a little abt the plan of Salvation but didnt have time to teach the whole thing. It was way cool tho bc Marias sister was there and wants us to go and teach her and her fam now!! 

Miércoles 

Good, pretty normal day!! Quite a few lessons which is the best. This guy named Noel we finally got into contact with seems really cool. Ever is doing good and we were able to teach him a quick message over the phone. Had a really good lesson w Nancy Lopez, the Lopez mom wasnt there but the older brother was. Nancy is super elect its crazy tho. She already reads the bible and stuff on her own and wants to go to seminary. Hopefully she csn carry the rest of her family too 

Jueves

Zone Conference baby!!! Soooo good!!! Trainings on how to improve KICs, cool thing is they didnt focus on numbers, just hownto improve in the work, which will then improve numbers, some really cool stuff!! This morning i had the strongest feeling I was going to have to give a Christ Like Attribute talk, so I went back over like 3 of the ones ive written. I felt best and strongest abt Humility. And then sure enough they called on me, the very last thing we did before President gave closing remarks. I felt really good about it though, the spirit was there and I've studied a lot about humildad so it was good. I ended up going over the 3 min limit by 17 sec, so after President said I was 17 seconds away from being a Stake President, they are always on a timer. So I think that was a compliment haha. After he gave me the biggest hug and said thanks and everything. He is the best. Sis Weathersby talked abt astronomy and having an eternal perspective which was powerful and fun to hear abt the stars. And Pres Weatherbsy told another cowboy story about gathering cattle, success as a missionary not depending on numbers but dedication, having faith to do miracles, personal revelation, Gods immense love for us, and of course exact obedience. I felt the Spirit so so strong and so much love for President and the whole zone, it was awesome

Then we had the opportunity to help out with a youth conference!! It was a blast!! They had us and 3 other companionships in 4 different spots along this trail and we each shared little messages to the groups of youth about how to stay on the path and return back home. It was a ton of fun and the kids were great. Only like 80 youth in the whole stake tho. It was pretty hot tho I was sweating and getting eaten alive by mosquitos tho haha. Then came back and had a super good lesson w Patricia about the Book of Mormon and shes coming around with it for sure. And lastly I got to talk to the fam while they were at the Red Sox and Yankees game. Literally story book ending, winning in extras after being down 2 runs in the 9th. It felt fake haha so cool to see 

Viernes 

Great morning run around the complex. I continue to leave the others in the dust. My explosion is gone but i feel like i could be a cross country runner. Not saying I want to tho. It rained like crazyyyyy here wow. The biggest thunderstorm and side ways rain in the afternoon but cleared up a little in the evening. Quite a few of our lessons actually fell through but it happens. Most eventful thing of the day was Elder Woodhouse got a random bloody nose at the end of the night and then decided go tell the other elders and then everyone in the zone he got punched in the face. Not something i wouldve done lol 

Sábado 

24th of July!! Basketball at a park close by in the am! Did some service pulling weeds kn the morning. Couple lessons in the afternoon. Such a fun night!!! We had the first ward activity since before covid. We actually had a really solid turn out and had so much fun. The best part was that this 17 yr old girl from this family we are teaching came! She was able to meet a ton of members and a couple young women, they were all super nice. It was huuuuge bc she is so elect but just had been a little nervous to go to things alone but now she knows some peoples. It was a great night they had hamburgers and hotdogs, i pounded 3 hamburgers and 2 dogs. I had missed having a good burger haha. Then we played soccer w a bunch all the kids and hermanos and Obispo even got into it! Even tho most of the Puerto ricans were doing their own thing, throwing the Frisbee of doing jump rope w this big rope haha I guess they dont play as much soccer there. But it was so fun and really good to be w the ward, especially since Elder Woodhouse is still meeting like everyone. Then we came home after 9 and 'went hard in the paint.' Hit some good bench in the garage with all the other elders. Really awesome night 

Domingo 

Solid day!! We had some people out of town so no one at church, it is soooo hard to get ppl to go to church. Good member dinner, carne asada! Some good lessons last night! Long time w numbers but a overall good time
