Lunes 

Familia Medrano!! Guau! We went over to the family we found last week, the one where the mom came out was like help my son. So we went back to teach them and they are so solid!! We were there for like 2 hours. We taught like almost all the plan and then the gospel of Jesus Christ. They were really interested in baptism actually which was way cool. 

Martes 

Cumpleaños!!! Blown away by the outpour of love. I'm truly so blessed to have so much people that love me, mas y nada mi familia. Pero amigos de casa, baloncesto, lideres, familiares, y almas que he conocido aquí como misionero. 

Lunch chat w Mamá!! Talked to them while they were at Krisitis farm/garden haha 

Worlds longest MLC. Literally went from 1-4:30 

Chilis!!!!!! So much fun to be there honestly. I had been dying to go there and it lived up to the hype. The other elders were super grateful as well. 

Super good lesson w Patricia! Said she will pray abt baptism specifically so excited about that! 

Kíke, hno mera. We had a lesson with the guy who showed up to church and this fellowship was an older guy that was super nice to him. But he legit just talked for 50 minutes. He just wouldn't stop. He started w Joseph Smith and then just kept going, opening up all these scriptures about baptism and basically didn't take a breath for almost an hour. Kinda frustrating bc it wasn't really even helpful but what can you do. Oh and funny but awful thing is he called him Mike probably 20 times. The man's name in Kíke hahah. So hopefully he talks to us again, we will see. Still a great day and night though

Finished off with the Carvel ice cream cake that made me feel at home, talking to all of the family which was so much fun, and opening up the box of presents and treats. It was way too much but so much fun to open!!! And I'm actually really excited about the new Oatmeal and other things haha. And the Jacks shirt wow! And the shoes are sooooo nice!! First pair of asics 

Miércoles 

Good morning, had a devo w the mission about dress standards lol. Rip to the bracelet i wore for like a week haha. 

Miracles w a couple people, another family that we seemed pretty interested. We talked with the mom, explained the LdM and how is blesses families and she really liked it. Hopefully they are legit! 

Passed by the house where there was the garage full of weed smoking last week. Talked to the dad of the guy who died. Was really interested in a message as well but wanted to the whole family together. Going back this weekend. 

Jueves 

Exchanges, went w Elder French who is going home in a week so he's kinda dead and doesn't speak Spanish so he basically just followed me around all day lol.

Lots tender mercies! 

Rafael! Knocked door looking for the dad, this prolly 20 yr old answer and we talked for a while, not to interested but she said her dad should be home next week. So were walking out and her bf walks out the garage. Hes the son of the dad we were originally looking for. Hes like 20 but said hes got a 3 month old son. Talked abt being a new dad and stuff for a while and then were able to give him a LdM, he seemed super interested actually. 

Went to the family who we found last weeks house to have lesson, it ended up falling, but the neighbor lady like waved us over and was like come in come in. Haha her name is Esperanza and she's really cool. We talked to her for like 45 minutes. I thought she was gonna baptized right then but then she told us shes a 7th day adventista. Shes still super nice  and gave us the address of a lady who used to live there and was being taught for a while so that was dope 

Had some lessons fall but had some cool experiences contacting. Saw Yadira Perez just walking on the street as we were walking through her trailer park to visit this other person. Good to see her and set up lesson for Monday! Then met the Hernandez. She said she didn't mean to request anything. But they were nice and they are actually active on their church, he goes like 3 times a week and teaches the youth. But he told us all the names of his neighbors and told us we shoulf visit them so now we can knock their doors! 

Finished off the night at Hna de la Rivas house, were able to give her a blessing which is always great. 

Viernes 

Awesome district council.

Awesome dinner and lesson!!!! Went and had dinner with the newly wed couple that part member. Hes a returning member and shes not a member. Her whole family was there, parents and sisters and sisters two kids. They were super super nice people, but they are  like actual practicing catholics, super rare haha. Copa america was on, that was cool to see for like 2 seconds haha. And then they made carne asad and pico and guac and beans and tortillas, just super Mexican food haha but it was legit good. Especially the carne. But it was way funny we just ate w out hands, the tortillas are basically the forks haha.  The wifes family dipped after dinner but then we were able to have a fire lesson w the couple, Valeria y Francisco. Talked about temple marriage and being sealed and then the whole resto and it was powerful. Hopefully Valeria can get an answer to her prayers about the church! They are awesome

Boring afternoon wasting time at the church trying to figure out a covid test.

Passed by this family, talked to the 17 yr old daughter and she might be the coolest one!!!! But then we came back an hour later and the mom left even tho they said they'd be there smh haha but they said Tuesday will work

Domingo 

Gabriela came to church!!!!!!! So lit!!! 

Two awesome lessons right before dinner!! Knocked on the door looking for one dude, turned out to be a different guy we're teaching, the one who came to church last week haha 

Then we knocked on the door of this fam who used to be taught, the mom and her kids, and the mom said shes not interested but was more than happy to have us teach their kids!!! So we read from the Book of Mormon reader about the Resto super simply. 15 yr old boy, 12 yr old girl, 10 yr old boy. Super dope kids!! 

Dinner with Obispo Perez!! Hes actually just got released as bishop a couple weeks ago. Super nice family as well as a couple other families from the ward. They had some carne asada and some hot dogs and corn, it was way good and a lot of fun!!!!! 

Then we just listened to the fireworks/gun shots hahah. We couldn't see anything really. But really a fantastic 4th of July !!!!!! 

Elder Johnson's fire is officially out. He is still nice and for sure obedient but doesnt have much fire. Hes ready to go home. I havent been out that long clearly, nor have i been around amyone else going home, but I believe hes ready. But its pretty much only been the last couple weeks hes been like this so that is probably a huge blessing. But I'm ready for a new comp haha

Ahhhhh im so excited to be with Elder Woodhouse!!!! He is a super nice guy, played soccer at PG, knows a lot of the same people. Cool guy and im excited to get to work!!! And ill be ZL1 so ill be senior comp and training him as a ZL which is just kinda nice to not have to have someone else come in and be in charge of me lets gooooooooo
