Lunes

Couple solid lessons over the phone. Then this older couple in our ward brought us a ton of food, all this stuff to make tortas and some fruit which was way nice. 

Martes

Pulled somebweeds in the am. Talked to the lady across the street abt her lawn, she was nice and she gave me a water. Gave her our number 

Little slower day. Have a lesson fall through so we went and knocked this one guys door but he wasn't home so we talked to the neighbor and then the original dude came out so we talked to him a lil. But then Elder Johnson wouldn't let us knock on the door of the neighbor again which was kinda annoying. But its all good

Zone Conference was so good!!

Street contacting. Talk to EVERYONE!! Huge focus Can work out as much as you want! 

Valeria Guerra!!!! Seems like thr perfect situation, she isnt a member but just got married a few months ago to a returning member. Shes pregnant, due in January. They are both so nice. The husband asked us to give her a blessing so we went over and it was awesome. The wifes mom wss there too and seems to be pretty catholic but was also open and nice so that was dope. And we were able to share a lil message and give the blessing and the spirit was really strong, it was super cool!! I'm way excited about them. 

Knocking on doors after, guy named Victor answered, family of 5. Seemed pretty interested! 

I was legit just so happy, like giddy on Wednesday night. I felt like we are finally normal missionaries and i found out we can work out as much as i want as long as im ready by 8:30 so im still being exactly obedient which is huge. 

Jueves 

Exchanges! 

Chalk art in the morning, I thought it was kinda a waste of time, inefficient, but we will see if anything comes from it. It was the other elders activity 

Muchos milagros!!!! 

So in the evening we had some lessons over the phone which were great. Then we had some time to stop by the house of Fabian and Hna de la riva. We taught them once and it was good but they haven't responded. So we are on the way over there and we drive past this street where we knocked a couple doors the other day and I felt like we should go there and knock on  this guy named Javiers door. So I just sent it and was like us sorry Elder I feel like we should go here. So I turn and we go. Turns out Javier wasn't there but his 12 son answered. He was trying to get us to leave but i was asking lots of questions and then finally hes like leave. So we go back and theres a lady across the street who is watering her garden and there were some kids running around. We start talking to her and eventually ask if she wants a message and shes just like straight up no im good. So i was like well do you know anyone else. And she actually pointee us to this dude standing down on the corner and said they recently had a family member die, apparently there were a bunch of cops and stuff a month earlier. So then I basically run down to talk to this guy and there are all these cars pulled up at the house. We walked up and there are probably 10-15 people in the garage just passing around a blunt, smoking weed. I could smell if from a few houses down it was so gross it always makes me feel sick. But there was one dude who was holding a baby on the front lawn we start talking to. He said there was a death a month ago of the son of the family and they finally got the body back so they were celebrating his life. We talked a lil abt what we do and said we would love to help snd gave him a pamphlet and he was way cool. And then we ran back to the car but haf to drive past the house again to leave. And then the dude who we talk to, his gf came out and gave us her number, seemed super down to hear a message!! 

Viernes 

Lil but slower but good! Spent a lot of time at the church for Elder Johnson and Elder McGahan to finish up My Plan and have their departing interviews. Kinda a little trunky that day but we got a couple more weeks but im trying to keep him grinding

Super busy day!! 

Great Love, Share, Invite devotional in the morning!! Love how they said we share the gospel simply bc its who we are. As well, that covenants Bound us to the Savior. 

Another super solid lesson w Jesus and Hno Ignacio Ibarra as fellowship. We explained the temples and it was way cool. Praying his doctor will let him go to church next week!! 

Great lesson with this guy we've been teaching named Alberto!! We actually invited him to be baptized and he said yes!! But then he told us he has some legal issues, has a court case pedning that doesn't even start until November, so that was kind of a rip. But he's still cool and hopefully will come to church 

Then we went and knocked on a couple doors and had a huge miracle!!! So we talked to this other dude a little on Tuesday and went back. Sadly he wasnt there but he has a food truck and his number was on the side of it so we called it lol and he just had left. So hopefully another day w him will work. But the milagro came when we knocked kn the neighbors door who we talked to for like 2 seconds earlier in the week. So we knock and right off the bat the guys like we're catholic and i was just like oh thats alright and just start asking him abt his family and his carnicería he works and and all this stuff and he wasn't super into it but then out of no where his wife comes to the door and is like talk to my 12 yr old son on he gets bullied and has depression. Such a different thing than go away we're catholics haha. So we just start talking to the kid on the side of the house and both the parents are just listening. And at the end they ask us all abt our church and said they've never really been to catholic church. They want us to come back on monday and actually sounded pretty interested in coming to church on Sunday!! 

Birthday party for dinner lol. We go over to dinner yesterday at 6 and turns out its like this huge birthday party for this old guy in our ward. We didnt even realize it was going to be a big fiesta haha. We got there right on time at 6 and  we the first ppl there and they hadn't even starting cooking the meat. And then all members start showing up, it was like a ward party haha. But the bad part was the food wasn't ready for an hour and then we had a lesson we had to go to at 7:30 so we kinda had to dine and dash which I felt bad abt but we had no idea it was going to be that big of a party haha

Domingo 

Stopped by Gabrielas house to get her to church! She said she would come!! And then she didn't. Smh. BUT! Our guy Kíke came to church!! He is from Ecuador, we've had like two lessons w him and invited him at like 8:30 on Saturday night. And then he sent us a text during the sacrament hymn and said he was outside!!! And then he stayed for the full two hours!!! So dope!! 

Also after we knocked on Gabrielas door to remind her abt church we stopped by this other family. We stopped by a few weeks ago and they were super nice, it happened to be the little girls bday and the mom had a baby 3 days earlier. But they hadn't answered the phone at all since then so we stopped by. And the door was open, they were cooking breakfast!! I legit just knocked on the screen door and said we smelled breakfast and wanted to come in and the all just laughed and smiled and asked how we were hahaha. And then I told the little girl its my birthday on Tuesday and asked if we could have another bday party like hers. And they were just loving it hahaha so we legit just talked to them for like 10 minutes without saying anything about the gospel and they were so nice!! And then we were finally like yeah so we are missionaries and they totally remembered the missionaries from a couple years ago and they said they even still have a Libro de Mormón!! The dad was there w the fam as well as the wifes sister who lives next door w her fam. It was the coolest thing!! And we are going back on Tuesday, my bday!!!!! Best present ever would be a fire lesson with them. Haha so yeah they are awesome and I already love them 

Then we had a good dinner! Nice family. 

And met another super cool dude!! His name is also Fabian, the second one we are now teaching lol. He requested a Bible. Knows like nothing but super open. Works all week tho in other part but home on the weekends. Supee sketchy looking dude, has like half his head shaved and then just normal in the back hahaha. But we gave him a LdM and said we will bring a Bible next week since we dont actually have one rn haha
