Yo yo !! Here's the scoop

Lunes 

Daniel called and wanted to have a lesson and it actually was fire!! Pleasant surpise to hsve him ask us if we could talk haha. Hopefully he will actually read and stuff so he can progress! 

Incredible lesson w Diana and Paty!! Paty is in 2 Nefi!!!! Ee talked about their readings and some ok ther little questions they had and it wss super good. And then we taught them the Word of Wisdom and the Law of Chastity and they were like yeah makes sense we like it. Awesome lesson. And they bought us whataburger at the end, they are so nice!! Haha we always try and say we are good but they literally want to do it, and it ended up tasting really good jaja. Great night.

Martes 

 Fun time at the foodbank! 1st ward was there so tht was fun to be w them. Had an awesome lesson with Irma and Gael!!! Super sad tho bc it was probably the last one, they move on Friday morning. I legit think they could baptized here soon. A month or two for sure. 

Miércoles 

Transfer day! Always kinda crazy. Saballos seems really good tbh idrk what everyone was telling me abt. We will see tho. 

Dropped of the flower to Luis y Carmen!! 

Went to the star as a district. I bought rice krispies for everyone.

Jueves 

Pretty solid day. ZLs made me upset after a meeting i asked abt the lines and they told me if they arent in my area i have to pass off all of my people. They seriously were like maybe even Alex even tho he gets baptized in a week. Smh. I'm keeping my people!!!!! At least Alex, Luis y Carmen, y Paty y Diana. And hopefully María. But then after that we went over and had an awesome lesson w Alex which made everything better. We went back over the bap questions and he is so solid!! And he said he wants me to baptize him which will be such a cool experience!!! I love the kid 

Viernes 

DC!! Rudys for Elder Neilsons birthday lunch! Really good, fun to have bbq, but i think R&R is better. I ñove how much E Neilson loves it tho. Bashed by this crazy dude that Saballos wanted go talked to, and after Saballos was like I love that dude. I was like dude he just tried to rip us apart with a bunch of Old Testament laws, what are you even saying. Haha. But then we went and met this Marybel lady who used to be taught. Lives is a rough part of time and has a suoer tough life but is pretty dang good. 

 LUIS Y CARMEN. This was by far one of the best nights ever haha going to Fortis Mexican Restaurant with Los Flores to watch Luis play. It was the BEST!!! He was so happy to see us, came over and gave me a hug right away, i was just beaming. Thought i was going to cry for a second haha. And then they moved us to be right next to them. There were a few people around but everyone is spaced out so it felt like it was just us. He would talk to us between songs and take requests from los Flores. Us güeros didnt know much except he played a Luis Miguel song for me, last one of the night, bc that's the only mexican artist i know haha. I legit love him so much. 

Sabado

We had service in the am digging this giant whole in the fromt yard. It was forbthe Root family, theyre in the 1st ward, theyre the same family whose house i went to on Christmas for dinner. They are an incredible family, mom does it all and the kids are super sweet, intelligent, well behaved. I like to think it is like us in KY bc he is a doctor and they have 5 little kids and are just supee nice. So we walked in to an absolute feast. Best breakfast ever. Incredible homemade syrup with a mountain of pancakes, this super good casserole, and tons of fruit. It was legit. It was also Elde Neilsons bday which was a lot of fun! He really likes service so that was a good thing to do. He said the roots are his favorite family in El Paso after the one morning. Which was a little crazy but he said its bc of the language barrier w the others. Still tough for him w the language. Coming along but slowly. Good day 

Domingo

Good day!! Alex didn't make it to church, he had a headache, but Diana and Paty came!! As well, Alicia hopped on the zoom so that was good!! We had a good virtual ven Sígueme. Then some solid lessons. Best one was the last one with this lady named Marybel. Wow she's been through a ton but she has so much faith its insane. She had cancer I think and was in the hospital for a long time and had like 4 heartaches while in the hospital. And had a total of like 50 surgeries over the course of a few years. She has all these scars on her aboman that she, shockingly, pulled up her shirt to show us. It was kinda crazy haha. But through all that she couldn't walk for a long time. And then her husband got up and left her w 2 teenage kids. And yet she still has fauth in God and read a chaoter of the LdM we left with her and also said she prays for her husband still who now lives w another woman. It is a pretty crazy situation. 

E. Saballos

Interesting guy. Freaking, fetch, yikes. Ive heard those words probably a thousand times this week haha. So when we first found out he was coming here legit everyone was telling me how he was the worst. Just like prideful and immature and annoying and all this stuff. So I was a little worried but I was still like I haven't even met the guy. But then I heard the day before he came that this other missionary who is the nicest dude ever actually punched him bc he was being so annoying. And the ZLs told me to do a bunch of device audits bc he had had some troubles with that in the past. So I guess by the time we finally got him I was pretty worried. When we picked him up he had legit sooo much stuff but he seemed really nice,  I was a little like ok so when is our going to start, when is he going to transform into the animal everyone was talking about. Which wasn't the best attitude to have at all, I feel bad now. But after a few more days I can definitely start to see the sprouts of things that could grow. He does think he knows just about everything. He was talking abt how amazing he is at Facebook finding and how they taught so much with it in his last area. But its bc they talk to all these ex gang members so its just random dudes w super tough stories, not really from El Paso, and it's in english. Not my thing really. I dont really see it going anywhere and I really don't like teaching in English. But he acts like its the best rhing ever even tho he's been out a whole 2 transfers. As well, I think he does embellish. He said he used to work as a lawyers assistant for like one of the best lawyers in Arizona. Said he stayed there everyday until 7 helping him write cases and stuff bc his other ppl wouldn't help him. But interestingly enough Hno Flores, who came w us to the restaurant, is a lawyer so E Saballos just wanted to talk law the whole time. And he was being a little weird at the restaurant requesting a bunch of songs w Luis I kinda wanted to be like bro chill just let him do his thing more. And another thing. He does play the organ and he actually really is good. But he again thinks he knows everything and was being pushy abt playing on Sunday. Like I get he wanted to and has done it in the past but I didn't want to like step on any toes of the lady who played the piano in the past. He just wanted to tell bishop like yeah I'm playing here are the songs i picked out.  But i called the lady who plays the piano, actually the stake YW pres, and she had to go to a different ward for WC so it did work out well. And lastly, at church we were talking to the Hna y Hno Flores and Hno is like your comps good at the organ and we were like yeah. Then he goes, he seems like hes in the mission, but not IN the mission. So that is a little concerning to here from a member literally less than a week in. BUT all that stuff being said I still like him. I think he's got a good heart, just a little immature at times, and maybe a big head a little. But he is a really good teacher actually and is fluent in spanish so it's been really nice a couple times when it's loud and hard to hear he has been able to understand. We've had some really good lessons as well. We just gotta keep it balanced still w Elder Neilson bc he has a tendency to completely check out of lessons if they are in spanish and he doesn't say much. 

Wow I am sorry this is so crazy long but I can't really say any of this stuff 

E. Neilson 

P90X on Sunday smh, i kinda said something last week and he gets all offended. Its hard. I really do love him so much but he really is up and down. It is hard sometimes bc he gets down on himself about the Spanish and now Saballos bugs him a little. But he has just been kinda up and down as far his mood. Will be like laughing telling stories and then we have a lesson and he wont talk and will be like depressed. Or there are days where he just say he's super tired. I need to do a lot better with helping him. I really do love him though he is such a good dude
