Yo Yo!!

Heyo!! Pretty solid week here! Started out a little slower but we grinded and had some really solid lessons this weekend that made up for it. Sadly I'm not starting this little thing until this morning so hopefully I can remember everything haha. I'll have more stories when we talk for sure!!! Really hoping mom doesn't have to go have her knee bent today! 

Tuesday kinda sucked haha we had like 6 lessons planned and they all fell through. It was a drag but we still grinded it out. I think Elder Neilson was like lets just study for the last hour of the night but I was like lets just keep contacting and grinding haha. I haven't had that slow of a night tho in a long time but it happens I guess 

Wednesday was pretty solid! Had some good lessons w this lady named Sosan who seems pretty cool, but she lives in Jaurez tho. She's trying to move here but we will see what happens. Then this new dude named Omar has a couple kids, younger guy. Pretty receptive hopefully he's legit. And then had a great lesson w Alex, he's still progressing well bc he actually reads and stuff 

Thursday was a good day as well! Had some more good lessons throughout the day and got a car wash for ZC on Friday was probably the biggest thing lol 

Friday was good!! Zone Conference was great!! 

Saturday we had some phat lessons!! Haha we finally got in contact with Juana again and talked to her for a really long time it was super good. 

Daniel we had a lesson with at 6 and was another monster. He's doing good and I invited him to be baptized and he said he wants to talk to his wife and stuff as well as go to church and read a little more. 

And then the best part of the whole week, Luis and Carmen!!!!! Wow I love them so much haha.

Sunday was good! I love the new sunlight so much. It was pretty windy tho so it was cold. Church was tough, none of our people came even though like 6 people said they would be there. Even Alex said he couldn't make it, but it is their spring break here. But we had a good meeting and I got to bless the sacrament which was cool to do in Spanish, never had done it at church in spanish before, just at the apt. And then Hno Alva spoke about missionary work haha. Then we had dinner w thr senior missionaries that live in our apt! They are super nice!! Not quite dinner with all the Jacksons but it was still fun. And then we had a lesson with Irmas 13 yr old son which was really good. Taught the whole restoration and he was following along well, said he felt the spirit. And then the Calderons canceled which was a bummer, especially since Jimmy texts us right before and was like sorry yall we can't do it. Then Eileen texts us like 20 minutes later and is like yeah we're all here idk why he said we couldn't do it tonight. So thats kinda sad because I still love them a lot but Jimmy is so difficult. But it was still a great day!! Haha kinda hard to fall asleep bc it was like early but feeling good this am! Can't wait to talk to you all!!!

I read end of 2 Nefi -Mosiah 2 this week and it was so good. Of course the end of Nefi is so good. But Enos-Words of Mormon is super underrated.  And then King Benjamín is always just so dang good. Always so humbly to realize how much we are in debt, unprofitable servants and yet God still blesses us as we do His will. And, one of the best verses ever, consider the blessed and happy state of those who keep the commandments!!! A divine truth.
