Saturday Pday!

January 16, 2021

Feliz día de preparación!! Haha President decided to change pday to today to be safe with the inauguration next week and potential for political unrest. We will see if it really is crazy this week but better safe than sorry I guess! 

Just going to give a quick update on the familia Calderon!! So we were thinking it was just the mom and daughter who were ready and wanting to get baptized. We had a little plot twist this week though! The 16 year old son had been pretty quick for all of our 2 hour lesson and then at the very end he goes "Hey Elders I have a question, what exactly does it take to be baptized?" We were shocked but soooo excited!! And then he told us the next day that after the lesson he just opened randomly the Book of Mormon and read Mosiah 18. Which literally could not have been a better chapter!! Such an incredible miracle. So now the daughter and son want to get baptized on the same date, but they still haven't been able to nail down an exact date. I know we'll get it figured out thid week! The parents are still progressing well but we gotta get them married first haha. Exciting times ahead! 

We also had interviews with President and he is just the best!! Absolutely called of God it is always a treat to talk with him. 

Not much else in the few days since I last wrote but I'm sure I'll have plenty next time! Love you all so much!! Please continue to pray for the Calderon family, I know they are bringing miracles!! Also Ether 12 is just the best if anyone wants to read an incredible chapter this week!
