Más Milagros pero Menos Tiempo

Hola hola !! 

Another great week here and the time continues to only accelerate! It was especially fast with pday being on Tuesday, but it feels the time really is running out. Only a couple emails left which is absolutely crazy. The mission is such a special time to see the Lord do miracles in His work and we were blessed to see His hand time and time again this past week. 

Amigos !! 

- Veronica y Carina. Two people we found this week with pretty similar situations actually and both two really powerful first lessons!! Veronica was a reference from social media and really is a miracle. Her request to meet with us came through, we contacted her right away and she was really willing to meet so we were pretty excited from the start. Until the address we had took us to a completely wrong neighborhood. It was a miracle enough when we called her and she was able to send her location but at that point we had already spent a lot of time and it was going to be another 30 minute walk to where she lived. We thought about rescheduling but then felt otherwise and what a blessing that was! We were able to go, and not only find another person as we walked on the pretty remote dirt road to get there, but have one of the best first lessons of my mission. She definitely has been prepared and the Spirit was able to testify to her of the truthfulness of our message. We are really excited to go back tomorrow and hopefully set a baptismal date with her!! Carina is a reference from our sweet 94 year old member and we were able to have a really powerful lesson with her as well! It was similar in the fact we were able to teach and testify of the restauración and they both have been prepared to receive the message. The Spirit was palpable in both lessons and left me really not wanting to think about this sacred time of being a missionary ending. 

- Paulina. Another huge miracle!! Paulina is the 17 year old neice of Dalma - yet again another family member of this returning member. Paulina came to the baptism of Angel and had a great experience and has been coming to church as well since. Again, a miracle in itself there. But this last week we had a Noche de Hogar in the chapel con her and Dalma, the Bishop and his family, and the Young Women's president and her family. It was a huge success as our Bishop took over at the end of our message to bear his testimony and share the story of his conversión. He was the definition of bold and invited her to pray about being baptized in two weeks right there. It was awesome and we are super excited to meet with Paulina again this week to see how her prayers went. 

- José. He's has been reading the Book of Mormon which is the key to conversion so things are good with him!! It is incredible to see the power of the Book of Mormon and it is incredible to be able to see it truly change people, and José is another perfect example. We are praying everything goes smooth but he should be good to go this Saturday for his baptism! 

Pensamiento Espiritual 

The Book of Mormon truly is the most powerful tool for conversion and the most precious posesion I have. It contains the fulness of the gospel and teaches simply and powerfully of our Savior Jesus Christ in every page. I have felt its spirit fill my own life each day as I study, ponder, live and share it's teachings. I have been blessed to see it completely change the hearts of others throughout my mission and simply want to testify to you all of its importance and power! It is the keystone of our religion, physical evidence that Jesus is the Christ and this is His restored church on the earth today, restored the prophet Joseph Smith. If you aren't daily immersing yourself in the Book of Mormon, I lovingly invite you to make a written a plan to do so!! It will change your life.
