Conferencia !!!

Hola a todos!! 

I hope you all had a great week!! I know if you were able to watch Conference then you without a doubt did, because it was that powerful!! 

Conference is honestly as as exciting as Christmas morning as a missionary so without a doubt was the highlight of the week!! Hearing pure revelation from our divinely inspired leaders is such a blessing and being able to watch it with our friends is the cherry on top! Also being able to watch every single session in Spanish was a first and an awesome experience!! Although a number of our amigos sadly had some unexpected things come up that made it so we couldn't watch it with them, we were still able to be with some of them and have some memorable experiences. 

In between sessions on Saturday we were able to go over to help the Familia Medrano in their store they are about to open up. It was a ton of work taking inventory and stocking everything up so we ended up listening to afternoon session as we worked with them haha but it meant a lot to them and they even took us out to dinner after!! They are such a special family and we are fervently praying they can accept a baptismal invite soon so they can start on the path to be an eternal family. 

Another friend we have been working with recently and were able to watch conference with was Adela! She came as a referral after seeing an ad on Facebook just over a week ago. We first met her last Saturday, she then came to church last Sunday, and then came and watched General Conference with us yesterday!! Talk about miracles! She is super interesting because she has very little religious background at all but it's so neat to see her desire to learn and draw closer to God and as well her willingness to make sacrifices to do so. We are super excited about her!! 

As I mentioned, some of our other friends like the Familia Saucedo and Crystal and her family had some unexpected things come up but they are fighting the good fight and continuing on in their faith. 

In other fun and exciting things here in NMAM: We had a great Zone council on Friday, started a new transfer this last week and Elder Woodhouse and I will be staying together which is fantastic, and the world famous Balloon Fiesta was the past weekend here in Albuquerque! Unfortunately it was about 45 minutes away since it was on the complete opposite side of the city, but we were still able to drive up to a hill and see the hundreds of balloons flying, pretty cool sight!! 

My spiritual thought for you all of course has to be from Conference! A theme I felt that was talked about numerous times and that really hit me hard was the infinite and perfect love of Heavenly Father. He truly loves us more than we can imagine and it was so powerful to feel that love as we listened to Conference. I love the description of the people in 4th Nefi that was used several times, of the love of God that dwelled in their hearts. It was that pure love, or charity, that brought them unity and true happiness. That love really is what allows us to Let God Prevail, making Him the highest priority in our life. Or as Elder Ballard posed the question from the Savior, "Do you love me more than these?" As well, when that love is in our hearts we want to make and keep sacred covenants that bind us to Him. It all comes down to the Love of God and our Savior Jesus Christ! A couple verses I'll leave you with about that divine love
