Good lesson with Leticia!! Really good open convo about the companionship.

Martes 

Good day! Really solid MLC. Interestingly enough we talked about comp inventories and correction, really good timing. Good lessons in the evening!! Leticia read the part we gave her to read!! 

Miércoles 

Service for this lady the English elders are teaching. The grossest garage full of junk and mouse poop and this lady's grandmas old stuff. It was really gross ngl. Really good lessons in the evening!! This guy Alejandro is super cool! We were going to teach him the plan but he actually asked us about what happens after we die as soon as we got there so that was perfect. Cool to testify he will have a perfect body. And another cool lesson with Yadira and Antonio Perez, this family we stopped by on the day of the birthday of their little daughter abt another ago. Turns out the husband is like legit interested, read all the stuff we gave him! 

Jueves 

Exchanges w our other DL, his companion came here. He goes home in a few days. He hasn't really ever been senior comp, he's a really nice guy but just a little different. He isnway into magic and D&D. From Idaho, worked at Costa so we talked a bunch about that haha. He hadn't driven in 18 months but E Woodhouse tossed him the keys and it was a little scary I'm not going to lie. Definitely one of the miracles of the day was we didn't die. Interesting to see an Elder who probably could've been better missionary but still finished out. We had a great day of work though it was awesome!! We had 8 lessons and found 3 news. One was a guy on the road outside of a door we knocked on but wasn't there. Just starting talking to him and gave him a LdM, said we must be men of God bc his dog normally barks at everyone but didnt make a noise at us. Then we had a cool lesson as we passed by this part member family. The awesome member wife, Hna De la Riva, wasn't there but the husband non member let us in. He told us about their marriage problems actually and we were able to talk a little abt having God in their relationship and gave him a LdM. Then we had the best green chicken enchiladas I've ever had in the mission. Not quite Spicy Chicken, but they were pretty close!! After that we had a lesson w Leticia and Hna Glover came. But Leticia was in the shower when we got there so we had to wait abt 15 minutes but while we waited we called this other lady and she actually answered and Hna Glover invited her to church and the lady was like absolutely. So that was way cool!! And then we had a really good with Leticia after too haha.  Then we stopped by Socorro, or apparently she likes Silvia better, and she was finally there! We had a super powerful lesson abt the resto and she was so into it it was so great. And ended the day on one last lesson over the phone w a random gray dot that answered. Legit huge miracles. Elder Reed didn't said hardly anything but said some good prayers. 

Viernes 

Finished up exchanges w Socorro. District Council. Blake's Lottaburger for first time! Talked about our exchanges for a long time but it was honestly so good to evaluate and talk with Elder Woodhouse. It felt really united and he is a great Elder. We are working so much better already. A super cool miracle was we went and picked up dinner and as we got back we got a text from this less active guy who lives in our apartment complex named Edward!!! We met him abt 3 weeks earlier when we were walking to our car and he was outside too and just said hey elders. Said he hadn't been to church in a few years but we told him where the church was and got his number and stuff. So the other day he texted us to help him move a couch right as we got home it was perfect timing so we went right over and helped him out. Pretty sad situation w his divorce, seemed pretty lonely. But he told us he went to church!!! He said the ward was awesome and had a great experience. He wants to work to go to the temple. And other cool thing was I was working out on the Saturday night, the day after we met him, and I was listening to this conference talk and idrk what it said but I felt like I should text him. It was like 10:05 but I just sent a little reminder abt church. All he said was "Thx." So honestly I wasn't sure if he was bugged by it or not. But he said that text was huge and helped him a ton to have the courage to go to church. Just a really cool way to see the spirit's guiding influence. 

Sábado 

Exchanges w Tome, back w Elder Saballos for a day!! I was a little worried going into it ngl bc their companionship had not been getting along at all and needed some loving correction, that's why we had the exchanges. But it actually turned out really really good. We had a heck of a day, found 8 people and taught 7 lessons. We were able to have some really good conversation about what was going well in the area and what needed to be changed to be more obedient and responsible and not waste the Lord's time bc they had been kinda hanging out too much and stuff. Elder Saballos just kinda blamed his comp but in the end we made a good list of things to improve and it was a postive convo. As well we hadnsome really good discussions and the importance of technology use bc they both had been watching videos on FB. And then lastly just abt communication and working w companions. It was all really good. In other things of course Elder Saballos loves to go out to eat so we went out to this mexican seafood place and it was actually dang good. I got green enchiladas filled w shrimp and crab. Wow. It was legit. And then as far as the work we had a really good day as I said. We had a couple gray dots answer throughout the day, talked to a couple guys outside and invite them to church. Went to the park and talked to two people for like 30 minutes each. And then had a really cool first lesson with this younger couple that was super powerful. Haha with them tho as we were knocking the house looked pretty quiet but we knocked anyway. And then I thought I heard something from around back so I walked over to the fence and they were both just like sitting there crouched by the shed hahaha pretty sure they were hiding from us but once they saw me they were actually pretty nice and let us in and eveything and the lesson was good. At the end of the night we had a good loving overview with both of them so hopefully they can figure the situation out more before the transfer ends next week. It was a long and tiring day but really good!! Lots of pics. 

Domingo 

Kind of a slower Sunday actually. We had about 6 people lined up to come to church and they all had something come up last second. Also it seems covid is coming back which is big time sad. Almost everyone was back to masks at church today and the family we were supposed to have dinner with got exposed so we couldn't actually go over which was a big time bummer. But they still got us some tacos which was were way good! Then we went and saw Edward, the returning member dude. And then transfer news was supposed to come out but it didn't haha so tomorrow morning at 8am it'll come out
