Hola hola!!! 

Great week here!! I know you guys might be skiing most of the day so i tried to write some good updates! Love you all so so much!!!!

Ive been studying humility a lot and it actually has been such a cool thing. In my Patriarcal blessing it talks abiut the importance of developing Christ like attributes, so i always feels its important. Chapter 6 of PME ud all about attributes of Christ and so ive been reading that and looking up the scriptures it lists. Its been super cool and ive felt like i need to focus on humility. Just more fully realizing I'm nothing and that I have to depend on the Lord completely to do His work. Completely trusting in Him and not on myself. It has been super cool and i have really felt the spirit through it as well just more gratitude actually as well bc I'm nothing, everything good comes as a gift from God. It's been really cool to study and focus on and pick it out in other things I read.

Wow it was a busy week!!!! We taught 17 non member lessons!!! And we found 6 new people. 3 on Facebook but 3 legit people and got back into contact with several more too. It was awesome, so many tender mercies and miracles. Now im just fasting and praying we csn help some of the people really progress and be baptized. Heres just a recap on some of the people. 

Calderón 

Alright week with them. We went over on Monday and had a pretty short lesson because they bought us chicos tacos again and it was hard to just dine and dash. But it was good what we were able to share! We also talked with Eileen on Saturday and she's still super awesome, still really wants to be baptized but is kind of hesitant to set a date. She legit could be baptized tomorrow. But she talked with the hermanas a little more and a girl in the ward her age so that was really good. She is going to go to mutual and that will be really good as well as we are going to show we the font and more of the chapel to help her feel more comfortable. She really shouldve been on date weeks ago but everyone is being too passive about setting a date. They sre waiting for a big answer, like the Hermanas and Elder Woods. They are being too slow about it. Like i guess w the hermanas Eileen was like ok what about the 4th of February, and the hermanas were like ah lets pray about it. But we've been praying about it for like 2 weeks at least now. Its just she wants to be baptized and there waiting for a big sign on the date. I dont think God gives us big answers everytime, he trusts us to use our agency and exercise faith at times. Also i dont think the date matters as much, but rather that she just gets baptized. She had the miracle that she knows she wants to be baptized. Sorry kind of a rant but thats the situation there. Oh and they said they were going to come to church sunday morning and then something happened and they were running late and the mom didnt want to walk in late so they didnt come which was a lil sad but thats how it is sometimes 

Ezequiel 

This man came to church and is actually so so cool!! Some sisters on the west side called us on Saturday night at like 9:15 and said they had this dude in our area who wanted to come to xhurch but didnt have a ride. So hno Gutierrez picked him up and he came! Lots of miracles there within itself but long story short he came to church, we had a lesson w him last night, he loved it and said he felt "bien contento", really really good all day haha he loved the sacrament and said he was telling his coworkers all day about how much he loved church. We are gonna go teach him again Tuesday in person w Hno Gutierrez!!

Juana

Little slow w Juana this week. Talked to her a couple times and Hna Gutierrez did too but she wasn't able to have a lesson. She still talks to us and likes us but sometimes is a little evasive w the lessons.

Isaura

This was another miracle! We called a random gray we hadnt tried in a while. Called looking for Maria but turns out she passed away a couple weeks ago. We taught the plan of salvation a lil and she said call again tomorrow. Taught the spirit world and thre degrees of glory and she really liked that. Sounds like shes bien católica but said she'd pray about the degrees of glory. Could be really cool!!

Irma y Pati

Ah this is awesome!! We went back over the restoration becuase they had some questions and Hna Gutierrez showed them the movie of the Restoration this week, it is like an hour long jaja but they like it! Also Pati's daughter sat in and was pretty in to it too. She said shes Christian already but was actually open to our message.  It was an awesome lesson and excited for next week!! Hopefullly they can read and pray bc we left them Moroni's promise!! 

Gustavo

Man has been a "dry member" since 2015 apparently and I'm wanting to make him just a  member now!! His phone has been off the hook for like a month but randomly worked on Friday night. Said hed come to church and we could have a lesson on sunday but turns out he went to Jaurez all day. But I'm not giving up on him at all, I know our man Gustavo could be really good

Daniel

Yet another miracle!! Daniel was in the hospital last week with pneumonia but he is at home now and doing a lot better!! We had a little lesson about the Book of Mormon and are gonna talk again tonight! He's got a family as well so fingers crossed yet again

Jackie y José 

Jackie Chuca, talked to her a month ago but hadnt answered since. We were able to have an awesome lesson with her and her husband!! Tender mercy he was on the call too!! We haven't been able to make contact w them since actually but they still were really cool, ive got faith about them!! Theyve got three kids, one at home so you already know I'm excited about that 

Sofia

Mom of Eduardo! Her brother has been a member for like 15 years what?! She is pretty católica too but said she was open bc we've been nice to Eduardo and because her brother is awesome. We were able to give her a blessing and leave them with Books of Mormon. We are going to teach the Restoration tonight! 

Martin

Guy the sisters gave to us becuase hes in our area. I guess he wss doing super well a vouple months ago, they were going to try and get him on date but then he broke up w his long time gf and needed some time. So its been some time now and said he would love to meet w us! We have a lesson tonight but idk if its in person or over the phone he hasnt said yet

Also added Honduras, Perú, Argentina to my list of people ive had lessons w so ya! Facebook actually does work
